An antique French faux-bamboo mirror dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The turned-wood frame was crafted to mimic natural bamboo, with distinctive angled ends extending beyond each corner and a beautifully timeworn honey-brown patina.
The mirror retains its aged character throughout, including scattered wear and imperfections consistent with its age. The solid wood backing shows an age-related split, visible from the reverse, which does not detract from the beauty of the piece when displayed.
